Merab Dvalishvili is getting ready for Petr Yan…again!

We might see some old blood again, as Merab Dvalishvili, defeated by in a title battle by Petr Yan in the main event of the UFC 323, is getting ready for the long awaited revenge.

You might remember, that unlike their first encounter, Dvalisvili did not do enough to manhandle Yan, did have many take-downs. Yan ended up smacking him until he was bloodied. A tough defeat for one of the best fighters in that division.

Dana White is thinking of that rematch, as Yan mentioned his readiness for this battle. It will be scheduled sooner, that later, and until that announcement comes, we wait for the saga to be continued. As for now, Dvalishvili is ranked number six in the UFC rankings. While Yan comes at number nine.

For most fans, Yan did unthinkable, when he defeated the big champ, but the win was solid, ruthless. He was ready for every Merab move, he knew the way of Merab’s fighting. Yan is ready to hand the chance back to Merab, as he is eager to defend the title.

So, who is the slight favorite in the upcoming battle?

The chances are even, but Merab still has that big experience that counts. And Yan is the champion.
