Where will Lebron James land?
NBA is heating up and getting ready for the play offs. Who gets the home field advantage in the first round? Who gets injury free for the most important battles? Who get hampered by injury bug?
Those questions come alive as we are eyeing the last two months of this exhausting regular season.
But teams look ahead as well. Let me remind you, that at some time, the free agent class od 2025 had some real beasts aboard: Anthony Davis, Lauri Markkanen, Jayson Tatum, Rudy Gobert, Jamaal Murray, Brandon Ingram, Jimmy Butler, Donovan Mitchell and Damian Lillard.
Those monsters are off the hooks. They all landed safely, while raising some questions, but still safe, to say the least. Mr Davis got injured, Mr Ingram got some risky place to explore his talents and Mr Butler is trying to retool in the land Mr Curry.
And, now, off to the rest. The real free agent class of 2025.
Any group that includes Lebron James, is a bomb.
So, the King headlines this class, Lebron has player option for 2025 and is having another great season. Well, he might lack something here and there, but Lakers still get 24.3 points, 9.0 dimes (fifth in the league) and 7.7 rebounds from this stat machine. Lebron intends to stay with Lakers (now, that a Luka guy has landed in Angel City), but some offers are going to fly in his direction as well.
Lebron is at a franchise level.
The rest looks cool as well.
Left without Doncic and with injured Davis, Kyrie Irving is his own class. Mavs are battling for a high seed and Irving has to be at his best to provide some needed gems down the stretch.
So is James Harden. Left without Kawhi Leonard for a long period of time, the Beard puts up one his best team efforts to provide Clippers with a classy playmaking and experience. Harden and Kyrie are also left with a player option.
And, we still have Khris Middleton (player), Fred Van Vleet (team), Julius Randle (player), Myles Turner (player), Jonathan Kuminga (restricted free agent) and Josh Giddey (RFA) there, in the shadows.
The storm is coming.
Where will the King land?
