Nikola Vucevic is on a mission

Nikola Vucevic is a 34 year-old center, who shines for Chicago Bulls and and awaits in the shadows.

He has yet to cleared on where he will start his next NBA season. He belongs to Bulls, but Chicago is eager to move him before the regular season starts.

Teams are waiting for Chicago and Lakers are offering Bulls a healthy compensation, should Chicago get interested in moving the star from Montenegro.

Vucevic was his stellar himself last season, as he fished up with 18.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Nikola is shining for his current (former) team and he will consider a probable move to Lakers as a serious upgrade. Well, any team with Lebron James and Luka Doncic on the board seems like an interesting option.

Vucevic now is busy on providing a weakened NT some needed boost and push for the ongoing Eurobasket’s next stage. Montenegro does not have a needed co-star and lacks some serious perimeter threat to help and provide Nikola with some needed depth.

Vucevic was a man of the match in a tightly contested game against Sweden, where Montenegro needed every one of it’s captains’ 23 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots to move on. Niikola was delivering and so, Montenegro stayed alive with a game against England on hand. Nicola did not let his team down.

Timely basket? Go for Vucevic, he will deliver.

Important rebound? Nikola’s job.

A game changing blocked shot? Well, no big deal for a big fella. Vucevic was all over the court and boy, he was that good and trusty. He just took the NT and put it on his shoulders. He was feeling the natural burden, but went through a tough Sweden and his team stayed alive. Vucevic was everywhere.

Lakers will be an interesting team to watch. An aging, but still highly motivated Lebron is a force of nature. Luka is on a rise and on a mission as well. The rest of the team is not considering retirement as well. And now, they are looking for some rim attack and protection from someone skilled and motivated. Enter the arena, Nicola!

Vucevic will try to reach 20 000 points (16 719 as of now) in NBA regular season, which with more than 10 000 rebounds (10 170 and counting) will push him to a Hall of Fame. Tough task, but this is doable for this skilled giant.

Lakers, Chicago or probably, some other team will be waiting for Nicola’s summer come an end and that is when the war begins. Only time will tell.
