Our romance does not have to have a moon in the sky. Nor we need a magic castle built on a pile of hopes. We just need to awake on time and let our most dearest dreams to come true.

Just like one former swimmer did. Being a very good swimmer, she found another talent to call upon.

Painting.

And her name is Tekle Khakhubia.

Now in her middle thirties, Tekle is a loving mother to Sandro, Kato, Kote, Nicholas and Damien. Loving them is the right thing to do for her. She is just a river flowed right to their door, making those angels a little too free and calm.

Tekle was an active swimmer for 8 successful years and suddenly, she decided to turn the page. She found the brush. She found the colors. And she did find way of life to be reckoned with. She fell in love with painting. She holds that dream in her hands just like a bunch of flowers.

At the same time, she was deep into painting since the kinder garden years. She was later inspired by her beloved Jim Morrison and the first real success came when she won her first international competition held in Moscow by the titan Zurab Tsereteli himself.

A new chapter needed the clearance. You do not have to slam the old door, you just carefully close it. Just like Tekle did.

A grown lady, who prefers Quentin Tarantino to Guy Ritchie, has always been a good caretaker. For her kids, for her family, for her talent. And she did become a peacemaker for her immense talent. She trusts in the power of women and the beauty that this power holds.

Favorite color? Tiffany blue. That alone brings down calmness.

When you look at her paintings, you see heaven in those eyes and you have no regrets that you spent your dear time on going through that process. Just like a first real love, a first real kiss, you just can not get rid of that beauty. And you never forget that. An you cherish the elementary beauty that you witness.

It is that simple.

She likes that Pianist film. She likes Charlotte Gainsbourg and Penelope Cruz. And, She does have her favorite sportsmen. Muhammad Ali.

From the classical era of paint magicians, Tekle adores Michelangelo. From the modern generation, she really digs Yayoi Kusama.

Tekle: I am afraid of losing God. And I dream of living in mountains, where I would have a vegetable garden and a beautiful yard with flowers. Chickens and rabbits will run in that yard and I will drink sweet red wine and listen to silence.

She became a late designer and now owns a brand Renew. Well, it does take away some time. Growing with her kids put painting on a hold, but now she is back hungrier than ever.

Tekle: I guess, I can say, that I am crazy about cooking. And, I am good at it. My mother is my private guardian angel, who is always in my dreams and I can always see her in front of my eyes.

You would never compare Tekle to any film character. That’s how unique she is.

And, boy, let’s now forget that she loves Led Zeppelin. But unlike those words from Stairway to Heaven, Tekle does not need the time to change the road she is on.

And that road, takes us to world of magic.
