The group stage on Eurobasket is over and we can put together our Top Five from the first five games. So, here we go.

Luka Doncic (Slovenia)

Stats: 32.4 points, 8.4 assists, 8.0 rebounds

Overall: Luka put on a One Man Show for Slovenia. His team did not beat France and Poland, but in the last game of the group stage Slovenia demolished Israel and Luka was the man…again. 37 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists from the golden boy of Lakers and Slovenia cruised past the tough opponent and secured a Top 3 finish in the group. Doncic is heading toward historical tournament and stats as well, as he leading Slovenia in almost every major stats. Doncic can score at will, he can dish out a ton of assists and Luka rebounds like a madman too. He is Slovenia and other teams might be in danger. LukaShow!

Deni Avdija (Israel)

Stats: 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists

Overall: This the tournament of his life. Israel has the guts, Israel has some traditions, Israel is balanced well, but the real star of this team is the talented guard, who is having an event for the ages. Avdija is a deadly shooter and he can create his own shot. Avdija controls the tempo and he rebound and play some tough defense as well. Some might say, that a guy called Dennis from Germany deserves to be here, but we have another star from the German side, so this spot belongs to the leader of Israel. Against Slovenia he matched Luka point for point and finished with 34. Watch out, Deni is coming, folks!

Franz Wagner (Germany)

Stats: 21.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists

Overall: Wagner has mastered every move, he is becoming one of the better and most accurate shooters from any distance and Germany relies on him as much as on Dennis. Franz scored a lot, but he is an excellent team guy, who sometimes sacrifices his own stats and comfort for the team sake. Franz is a very underrated passer, who almost never gambles on defense. Franz shoots a lot of free throws and once he decides to isolate himself on you, man, trust us, that’s where the real trouble starts. Expect him to increase his time on court and Wagner never disappoints. Germany ubber alles! Or should we say, Franz ubber alles, dear friends! Makes sense.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece)

Stats: 27.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists

Overall: Greece rests the god like machine, who creates havoc against every given opposition. Giannis is almost unstoppable in the paint, but he became more and more dangerous from the distance. This freak of nature never hesitates and is in attacking mode every given minute. He missed two games, but he played sharp in other three encounters. Giannis is in Top five in points and rebounds and he became very attractive passer too. Never underestimate the heart of a champion. And, hopefully, they will never will. This killer will torture a lot of opposite players and will glide through any given defense on any given night.

Nicola Jokic (Serbia)

Stats: 20.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists.

Overall: We can not have two centers in our Top 5, so we decide to give a small advantage to a guy, who did not beat the unofficial MVP in the last game of the tournament. Like Luka, this big guy is playing with hos smarts, but never tries to overshine his counterparts at any given level. Nicola is the best player in the world and he will improve in a play offs format. Yes, you have heard it correct, Jokic is just warming up. A scary thing is coming. Nikola will dominate once the play offs start. He is ageless. Vote for Jokic. I will surely do!
