Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gets some unwanted attention
Georgia is cherishing every inch of Khvicha Kavaratskhelia’s already stellar career. 24 year old superstar has had a wonderful debut for French giant PSG after heading to Paris from Napoli.
Kvaras influence on the field helped his team get an elusive Champions League title and boy, did Khvicha delivered in the final! He was covering all over the field, striking early, scoring late and getting some crucial defensive stops as well.
PSG secured the most prestigious club trophy in the world and started another international campaign with a splash. Helped by Kvara’s two assists, PSG crushed Atletico Madrid 4:o at the FIFA Club World Cup. PSG is among favorites for another piece of history and besides Atletico, the French side will battle Brazilian monster Botafogo and MLS side Seattle Sounders.
Luis Enrique tursts Kvara and gives him a green light on the pitch. And, despite his massive form, Khvucha was given a time off from international duty to rest and recover quick enough. That’s why he was left off out of Georgia’a recent friendly games against Faroe Islands and Cape Verde.
Kvara got some unwanted attention during the recent period as well.
His family’s holiday rental was broken while he vacationed on the French Riviera, while enjoying a well-deserved break alongside his buddy and Georgian NT teammate Zuriko Davitashvili. It was reported, that while the pair were staying in the coastal resort town of Cannes, burglars struck his rented property. Several luxury watches, designed handbags and some expensive jewelry was stolen.
No injuries were reported and French authorities have since launched a formal investigation.
Kvaratskhelia contributed loud, getting seven goals and six assists across 25 matches in Ligue 1.
Khvicha is flying again.
