Ilia Topuria supports Carlos Alkaraz

Ilia Topuria remains unbeaten with 16:0 record in professional sports and is a former UFC featherweight dominator. 28 ter old Georgian vacanted his title and is puruing some new challenges. He aims to conquer the 155-pound division and his next fight will be versus Charles Oliveira, a former lightweigh champion. The battle is set on June 28th in Las Vegas.

That will be UFC 317. And should he win, Topuria will become just the tenth fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two different weight categories. Tough one. Is he cementing his name as the all time great club member? Could be.

But before that, all eyes were on Carlos Alkaraz, as the Spaniard achieved a historical victory on the clay courts of Paris, at Roland Garros. Italian Jannik Sinner was the victim of Carlos in the final.

Topuria has a friendly relationships with Carlos. He was amazed by Alkaraz as Carlos came back from 0:2 sets deficit and saved three match points to defend his title in Paris. A comeback from behind win was a victory for the ages. Alkaraz was thrilling and the final result – sensational. The longest ever match played on Philippe Chatriet court was fight for the ages, if not the best match ever played in Paris.

Topuria knows Karlos well. They crossed their paths on different levels and Ilia strongly supports the tennis phenom. The 222 year old Carlos is a monster in making and Carlos has a huge respect for this generational talent, who is a model athlete for many stars.

Ilia hailed Carlos as the Idol for many many Spaniards and knows, that the hard work always comes back in a big win.
