Bidzina Baratashvili: We have come for you all

This man has always been a good example for us, his colleagues and mostly, his friends. And if there is an honor to call yourself his friend, it is a hard task to remain in this chair. He sets his standards and follows them. Good luck of doing the same. Not all of us succeeded, but at least, most of us have tried.

Bidzina Baratashvili is the main driving force in Silk TV. A general producer of this mammoth creature, who is always up for any challenge. A former boss at TV Imedi and a current vice-president of Georgian Sports Writers Association, Baratashvili opens up the future of Silk TV.

Bidzina Baratashvili: currently, we have the rights introduce our audience to a very colorful sport menu. As the football program goes, we have the right for UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europe League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Nations League, UEFA Euro and World Qualifiers, Copa Conmebol Libertadores, Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, Asian Champions League, Spanish La Liga, Portugal Primeira Liga and Eredivisie. We are working to enlarge the sphere of interests for our audience and we aim for more.

Basketball, Tennis, Handball and Horce Racing

B.B: Of course, we understand, that there are many, many fans of other sports too. Georgian basketball is reaching some new heights and we understand that. We can offer you NBA (Regular season and play offs), Euroleague, Eurocup. Many Georgian players, the members of respected National Teams are represented there and the interest of course, goes well beyond that. As for the tennis world, you can enjoy by going deep into ATP 1000, 500 and 250 series. Handball is becoming huge and one of the most active representatives of that federation, my close friend Levan Salukvadze (also, a member of AIPS) was awarded a Medal of Honor. We have rights to show you IHF (Man and Woman) World, European Championships, IHF Champions League and IHF Champions Cup. Horse Racing is represented by all main British, Irish, French, Arabian, Australian races

Ice Hockey and well beyond that

B.B: Ice Hockey World Hockey Championships got a good response and we try to prolong it this year too. Rugby is huge here, so we were offering Rugby 7 series, Premiership Rugby and some interesting analytical programs as well. Georgia has always had a huge success in Judo, so we went deep with Judo World Series, Judo World Championships, Wrestling World and European Championships. And, trust me, this is not the final say. We are working on many interesting projects in the process. Silk Sport TV is working on all cylinders. We are happy with the current group of Sports Journalists, most of them are members of AIPS and it is a big honor for us, for them and I hope, it will be a good and healthy run for this generation of sport fans.  We have come for you all.
