Representatives of Kazakhstan Mini-Football Federation visit AIJA

On December 13, a meeting was held between the officials of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association (AIJA) and the representatives of the Kazakhstan Mini-Football Federation.

The event was attended by Alibek Majikenov, a member of the Executive Committee of the International Mini-Football Federation and head of the Kazakhstan Mini-Football Association, Mangistau region representative and veteran futsal player Nasukha Baybakov, AIJA President Eldar Ismayilov, AIPS Europe EC member and AIJA First Vice President Nargiz Mahmudzada, Vice President Natiq Nasirov, Head of AIJA’s Wrestling Commission and Editor-in-Chief of Olimpsport magazine Ramin Allahverdi, Secretary General of the International Futvolley Federation (FWW) Afghan Hamzayev, and AIJA Press Secretary Anar Ahmadov.

Welcoming the guests, AIJA President Eldar Ismayilov highlighted the significance of the meeting. He noted that AIJA’s activities, which have already made a substantial impact at the national level, are now drawing international attention. “Our organization has successfully united the country’s most talented sports journalists,” Ismayilov said, emphasizing the importance of the Kazakh delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan.

Veteran futsal player Nasukha Baybakov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, describing the meeting as a key step toward fostering future collaborative projects. The Kazakh delegation also shared their admiration for Azerbaijan, noting that their visit to Baku had left a lasting positive impression.

Following the discussions, Eldar Ismayilov presented Nasukha Baybakov with a commemorative gift, marking the conclusion of the fruitful meeting.

This visit underscores the growing ties between sports organizations in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, paving the way for potential partnerships in the field of mini-football and beyond.
