Sports Media Austria
Vereinigung Österreichischer Sportjournalistinnen und Sportjournalisten

Sports Media Austria established in December 1949. AIPS Member since beginning. Has around 600 members.

Sports Media Austria represents the interests of all colleagues in Austria. We see ourselves first and foremost as a service contact and try to solve any problems with accreditations, labor law, etc. together with the members. SMA also conducts the annual athlete election and awards a journalist prize (sponsored by Coca-Cola) worth €6,500 every year.
