PANHELLENIC SPORTS PRESS ASSOCIATION
ΠΑΝΕΛΛΗΝΙΟΣ ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΣ ΑΘΛΗΤΙΚΟΥ ΤΥΠΟΥ (ΠΣΑΤ)

The Panhellenic Sports Press Association (P.S.A.T.) was founded in 1952 and since then has been dedicated to the service of Journalism, Sports and Youth.

P.S.A.T., which is the sole representative of Greece in the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS), has 1.200 members throughout the country. Its members belong to seven professional associations (POESY, ESIEA, ESIEMTH, ESIETHSEE, ESIEPIN, Association of Journalist and Electronic Press Editors, Association of Foreign Press Correspondents).

The role of the PSAT in the development of sports has also been recognized by the Hellenic Parliament, which in article 134 of law 2725/99 states that "For the sector of Sports Editors, the Panhellenic Association of the Sports Press (P.S.A.T.) is recognized as its operating body. P.S.A.T. is a factor and factor in the promotion, dissemination and development of Greek Sports".
